Amongst many people, there is a myth that Christmas is not Christmas if they don’t go out and buy the biggest tree they can find. They then proceed to spend a small fortune on decorations and lights, before proudly displaying the huge tree in a prominent position within their home.

This is fine for those who have the room, but it is not practical to have a large tree within a small living space: it makes life uncomfortable for those living there, and thankfully Christmas tree manufacturers have recognised this. For such people, there is the slim artificial Christmas tree.

There is a wide range of slim-line artificial Christmas trees on the market today. Most retailers sell slim versions of their best-selling artificial trees, and, just like the regular tree, they come in all styles and colours, pre-lit and/or pre-decorated. Slim artificial Christmas trees come in normal heights, but smaller diameters – a 6-foot tree will typically have a 40-inch diameter, whilst a 7-foot tree will have a 46-inch diameter. As well has taking up less floor space, slim-line trees look very graceful.
